Vincent Durmont

About me

I was born in France and I currently live in Los Angeles with my family, after I spent about 10 years in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I am a Software Engineer and Co-Founder at Guild.ai where I am building a platform for builders who care about craft, reliability, and scale. Our mission is simple: make building with AI as open and collaborative as open source. I am a full stack developer, which means I know just enough to be dangerous everywhere and break most things.

In the past few years, I have been enjoying the fintech world and the crypto industry. First at Novi, where I built a wallet infrastructure for the masses. Then at Lightspark, where I was the Head of Engineering and lead the team to deliver on our mission to bring open payments to the internet. Before that, I spent a few years at Facebook, working on their internal tools, both as an IC and a manager. I also worked at/founded several startups, including Mindie, Ubleam, and Plixee.
